Dear Faith Formation Families,
I hope this letter finds you healthy and well.
The Faith Formation team has been very busy planning for the upcoming 2025-26 Faith Formation year. We are excited to announce that registration is now open. You may register here online or download and print the registration packet. If you REGISTER AND PAY before May 15, 2025, you will be given a $15 discount per family on your tuition fees.
Elementary Faith Formation will continue featuring the Families Forming Disciples program. This is a new, dynamic curriculum offered in both English and Spanish created by the Archdiocese of Atlanta which was first implemented at Holy Trinity for the 2021-22 school year. Families Forming Disciples is a partnership between the Church and the parents which will provide a family-focused, thematic-activity approach to learning about Jesus and the Catholic Faith. Groups of families (Pre-K-5th grade) will meet onsite 2x per month to encounter the Lord together and to encourage each other to live as the Domestic Church in and through their home and family life. The ultimate goal of the lessons is to encourage families to pray together and grow together as disciples.
For those preparing to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, there will be additional parent and student sacramental preparation sessions onsite. A schedule of meeting dates and times along with more information will be available in August on the website at: https://www.htptc.com/elementary-english.
Middle school and High School students will alternate class weeks in an A/B cycle. Each High School student will attend 10 class sessions in addition to attending at least 4 additional sessions focused on prayer, service and community. Middle School students must attend 10 class sessions and are welcome to attend any of the additional sessions focused on prayer, service and community. More information will be provided via e-mail.
For high school students preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, they must attend three sessions of Sacramental Preparation in addition to a retreat and service opportunities. The Sacramental Preparation sessions are offered on June 16, 17, 18 in 2025 and January 7, 14, 21 in 2026.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Be assured of my continued prayers for you and your family.
Pace e Bene,
Rebecca Capezzuto, OFS
